Kayak Sailing is not new as the Inuits had sails on their Kayaks, this was documented in the 1800’s and photographed in the early 1900’s. Sailing with a Kayak is great fun and you can cover vast distances on an expedition exploring islands and beyond.
Our sails are made from the highest quality of material available on the market and are manufactured by OWEN SAILS in the U.K. one of the most highly respected Sail Makers in Europe for their quality.
We gave Owen Sails a rough design of what we required for a Kayak Sail, they came up with a design different in cut and shape to all others on the market which is perfect for Kayak Sailing. Since then we have had amazing feedback from customers on the performance of the sails. Dr. Douglas Wilcox conducted extensive tests on the sail before we went into production and was also very impressed with the performance in light winds force 2/3 and also in force 5. This option is also for your kayak if it is already drilled or you wish to drill it for the Mast Foot. ALSO AVAILABLE IS A FORWARD HATCH MOUNTING - NO DRILLING REQUIRED! We use Ronstan Shocks for sliding the sheets ( control lines ) through as they are much smaller than rollers.
Mast foot comes with a flexible joint allowing you to lower the mast and lower the sail down onto the deck when not required it also has a quick release when the mast and sail is not required to remove it altogether. Carbon fibre mast and boom also supplied plus all shrouds, control sheets, clam cleats and deck fittings with no drilling required for fitting. Comes complete with everything required to get you Kayak Sailing.
Excellent replacement for your FLAT EARTH sail and mast. We can adapt our mast to fit your Flat earth Mast Foot for a perfect replacement.
KCS now also offer an adaptor plate should you have a P & H CoreLite Sea Kayak that is already fitted with the inserts to bolt the mast foot onto to the deck, this allows our Mast Base Plate to bolt onto the adaptor Plate.

Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@paddleandpitch.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
